Red crabs are my ultimate when it comes to the surf… but Ive never managed to find the perfect shade of red in Turantula/Centipede legs.  This meant I usually used red permanent marker which had to be constantly applied as it wore off.

Thats where google came in.  I found a tutorial where guys were dying skateboard truck rubbers washers and poly wheels with clothing dye.  So I tried it with legs.  And it worked. Well.

You need; Clothing Dye, Legs, Pot, String (for dipping)

Step 1- Insert Dye & boiling water in the pot and heat to a simmer (Do NOT boil)

Tie legs to a string and dip. Leave in for as long as necessary.

Dry in between dipping for better penetration.
